In 2021, the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Reform issued a report (despite the reluctance of certain companies to send relevant samples) which obtained disturbing results about the presence of metals in baby food.
In light of the publication of this report, the government has taken action, however, the process has been very slow. Likewise, corporations show indifference, so the case has progressed slowly.
