- A voice for Alabama’s Latino community: Nathan brings years of experience serving Latino families, along with a valuable bilingual and bicultural perspective.
The Alabama Association for Justice elected Nathan Harris Secretary for the 2026–2027 term during its Annual Convention at The Henderson Beach Resort in Destin, Florida.
Nathan, the founder of Abogados Centro Legal in Hoover, moves into the role after serving as ALAJ Treasurer during the previous term. His election reflects his continued commitment to the legal profession and to protecting access to justice throughout Alabama.
As Secretary, Nathan joins an executive team led by President Lucy Tufts of Cunningham Bounds in Mobile. The other officers are Derrick Mills, President-Elect; Christina D. Crow, First Vice President; Robert “Bo” Bruner, Second Vice President; Gavin King, Treasurer; and Clint Mountain, Immediate Past President.
Nathan’s service also brings an important bilingual and bicultural perspective to ALAJ’s leadership. Throughout his career, he has worked to help accident victims and immigrant families understand their rights, obtain high-quality legal representation, and have a fair opportunity to be heard.
ALAJ CEO Ginger Avery emphasized that strong leadership is essential to protecting the rights of Alabama residents and maintaining confidence in the civil justice system. Attorneys who volunteer their time and experience through ALAJ help advance its mission and preserve access to a fair and impartial system of justice.

Nathan Harris founded Abogados Centro Legal in 2010. Drawing on his Ecuadorian and American heritage, he leads a bilingual legal team dedicated to representing accident victims and immigrant families.
