Kathreen Insignares is a Legal Assistant at Abogados Centro Legal. She plays a key role in both the operational and administrative aspects of the firm, handling communication with clients, witnesses, and insurance companies. Kathreen is skilled in drafting legal documents and conducting the research needed to support attorneys in personal injury cases.
Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Kathreen previously worked as a Spanish teacher before an opportunity arose for her to join a law firm, where she gained several years of valuable experience. She has supported clients with a wide range of cases, including personal injury, car accidents, workers’ compensation, and hernia mesh litigation. Known for her excellent customer service skills, Kathreen takes pride in helping others and being a reliable source of support throughout the legal process.
What was your first job?
My first job was as a teacher! I taught Spanish online to students from the United States, Canada, and Australia!
How would you describe your job to a kindergarten class?
I help people who got hurt in an accident, and I also help get their cars fixed.
How did you start working at the firm? How long have you been with the firm?
The firm was looking for a bilingual legal assistant who could help with property damage claims. The company I was working with at the time reached out to me about the opportunity, and I’ve now been working with Abogados Centro Legal for almost two years!
What’s one skill you think everyone should learn?
I think everyone should learn another language. It opens up so many opportunities—especially when you want to connect with others.

I love being part of a team that genuinely cares about its clients. We always do our best to help others.
How do you define success?
Success is being happy and fulfilled with yourself, your work, and your goals.
If you could switch jobs with anyone at the firm, who would it be?
I work remotely from Venezuela, which has its limitations, so I’d love to switch with Laura. I’d like to meet the clients in person and spend time with the rest of the team!
What was the last book you read?
The Bully Book by Eric Gale. I highly recommend it!
