  • Statewide leadership: He joins the 2025–2026 executive team, which champions the right to a trial by jury and broader access to justice across Alabama.
  • Community focus: Nathan’s long-standing work with the Latino community brings a vital, inclusive voice to ALAJ’s leadership.

The Alabama Association for Justice (ALAJ) has announced its 2025–2026 officers, naming Nathan Harris as Treasurer. The slate is led by Clint Mountain (President) and rounded out by Lucy Tufts (President-Elect), Derrick Mills (First Vice President), Christina D. Crow (Second Vice President), Robert “Bo” Bruner (Secretary), and Ben Baker (Immediate Past President).

“It’s an honor to be elected Treasurer of the Alabama Association for Justice. I take this responsibility seriously and look forward to working hard for our mission and our members,” said Nathan Harris.

Nathan’s election adds a bilingual, bicultural perspective to ALAJ—strengthening its ability to serve an increasingly diverse Alabama and ensuring every resident, regardless of origin, has access to first-rate legal representation and a fair trial.

ALAJ CEO Ginger Avery notes that Alabama’s motto, Audemus jura nostra defendere (“We Dare Defend Our Rights”), captures the organization’s purpose: “Our members work to make sure every Alabamian can find a just resolution in the courts.”

2025–2026 Board of Directors: Drew Barnett, David Brown, Doug Dellaccio, Ben Ford, Christin French, David Hodge, Gavin King, Andrew Moak, Robert Potter, Leslie Rubio, Josh Hayes, Greg Brockwell, Ryan Duplechin, Ken Riley, Ashley Peinhardt, David Nomberg, Catherine Moncus, and CEO Ginger Avery.
